WorLD'S BIG SLEEP OUT

ABOUT

While The World's Big Sleep Out involves spending a night under the stars, it is not about pretending to be homeless. It's an act of solidarity - to give you a tiny insight into this reality, and to raise the funds and awareness needed to help people who have no other choice.

WHO

The World’s Big Sleep Out Campaign is founded by Josh Littlejohn MBE, the co-founder of the charity Social Bite - based in Scotland. The event is run in partnership with the Institute for Global Homelessness (IGH), Malala Fund, Robin Hood Foundation and UNICEF USA.

HOST OR JOIN A SLEEP OUT

By joining the World's Big Sleep Out your city will be at the forefront of the global fight against homelessness raising awareness and funds to tackle the issue in your city and for vulnerable refugees internationally.

HELPING 1 Million PEOPLE

Through the campaign, we hope to invest a minimum of $50,000,000 to help people experiencing homelessness locally and throughout the world. Whilst it is never an exact science, we expect that these funds would go on to help in the region of 1,000,000 homeless and displaced people.
